FOOD SECURITY:
I am committed to ensuring that all Alaskans have access to affordable and nutritious foods. I have introduced legislation this session (House Bill 198) to help address Alaska's SNAP backlog.
COLLABORATION:
I am proud to be a co-chair of the Freshmen Caucus in the Alaska State Legislature to help foster strong, bipartisan relationships and work together to solve Alaska's problems.
AFFORDABLE HOUSING:
I am committed to expanding the number available housing units and making housing more affordable for all Alaskans.
I have introduced legislation (House Bill 184) to regulate the number of short-term rentals and help make those units available to Alaskans who are looking for housing.
EDUCATION:
I support robust funding for Alaska's public schools and educators. This means an increase to Alaska's Base Student Allocation formula, as well as a return to the defined benefit pension plan for Alaska's teachers to help keep qualified educators in our state.

State IDs for Prisoners:
I was proud to work with Senator Robb Myers (R-North Pole) to pass HB 53/SB 119 into law this session.
This bill helps incarcerated Alaskans re-entering society after their sentences by issuing them a state ID, which will help them gain employment, housing, access benefits and more.
